Here is a late model custom, built for G.M. by Strange Motion Rod & Custom. This 2003 Chevy Cavalier, built in time for the Las Vegas SEMA Show, introduces street rod stylin' to a late model platform.
Air Ride, once again, supplied the air suspension, while Colorado Custom provided the 19" billets. The radical paint scheme, applied by Tim, uses Dupont products throughout. We manufactured for Strange Motion custom made one-off billet switch panels for the doors, floor console, and overhead console.
After debuting this Custom Cavalier at the SEMA Show, Tim & Carrie transported it to the Chicago World of Wheels and then to the Darryl Starbird National Rod & Custom Car Show in Tulsa, Ok. This car was awarded "Best in Class" at both shows.
Blending various styles to one car can be tricky business. However, when it's done correctly, it can be appealing to the eye. Strange Motion has accomplished this look once again.
