Art Rod
This 1937 Ford Sedan owned by Greg Depauw (Art Rod Foundation), Metamora,IL is one of the very few wheel chair accessible street rods in the country. Built by Paul Gansch, Everett Gray, and Denny Quinn to name a few. This car will draw a crowd at any rod run big or small.
Greg who is an accomplished artist, is an inspiration to us all. He and I designed the trunk enclosure using some of Greg's design of sculptured art work. This design was machined out of 1/4" plate and then every inch was polished and buffed. We also fabricated the trunk enclosure out of sheet aluminum. We individually cut out each flame tip so that the midship mounted Taurus V-6 engine could get the proper ventilation to keep cool. The enclosure is fully removable using custom made brackets. This feature allows accessibility to the engine so it can be serviced.
