Tom & Gerry McClellan are known in many circles for their love of customized Mercurys. Just recently they traded their 46 Merc ragtop for a 1951 leadsled. This 51 Merc appeared in the movie "Heart Like A Wheel", which was a autobiography of Shirley "Cha Cha" Muldowney (NHRA Top Fuel Driver). Since its debut in that movie, afew changes have been made. Gone is the two tone paint and in its place a kandy red color that is more up to date. Hood Scoops,Lake Pipe Covers, frenched antennae, relocation of the fuel filler door and a few other body mods were done to clean up the body. The interior has also been redone in leather and tweed. The aluminum firewall, wire harness cover, wirelooms, a/c fitting cover, power steering reservior cover, inner fenders, radiator cover, radiator shroud with a Merc head engraving, and a trunk sill plate were made at our site.
