Flamed 40 Sedan
Mike Herzog of Ft. Wayne,In is the proud builder and owner of this fine 1940 Ford Sedan. You see, Mike has owned this car for 13 years so when it came time to build this 1940, Mike decided to do it right. He gave this car a complete frame-off restoration.
A 350/350 engine/trans combo was installed along with a 10 bolt rear for simplicity and reliability. Vintage Air and a killer Pioneer stereo were installed along with a set of one off Weld flamed billet wheels. Just one glance at the body and a knowledgeable rodder can tell there were many hours spent massaging the body on this fine 1940. The color of choice is PPG's turquoise.
The interior features a beautiful champagne colored suede material, and a Weld flamed steering wheel to match the flamed road wheels. Speaking of the flamed theme, we manufactured the flamed arm rests for this radical rod. Which along with the wheels and flamed pieces Mike fab'd for the slick engine compartment help make this car a standout at every event it attends.
